McIntyre impressed her hometown crowd with a season-high 33
points leading the Oral Roberts University women's basketball team
to a 66-52 win over Omaha Wednesday night in Summit League
action.
The Golden Eagles nearly led from start to finish taking a
comfortable 33-19 lead into the locker room at halftime; however
Omaha pushed ORU in the second half cutting the lead to just two
points midway through the second frame.
McIntyre paced ORU and came away with either a rebound or basket
when the Golden Eagles needed it finishing with 24 boards - just
three shy of the ORU and Summit League single-game record she set
earlier this season.
ORU also controlled the paint outscoring Omaha 36-20 and in the
rebound battle with a 40-28 edge.

McIntyre completed a three-point play after a jumper in the
middle of the lane after Omaha had cut the Golden Eagle lead to two
points. ORU responded with a 15-0 run over the final eight minutes
to build a 61-45 lead and hold on for the win.

McIntyre posted her 17th double-double and scored a season-high
33 points while adding 24 rebounds.
Omaha: Mikaela Shaw
finished with 32 points and seven boards for the
Mavericks.

rebound list passing Elisha Turek (06-07) and just five behind Amy
Williams record of 365 set in 1989-90. She is two shy of Oberon
Pitterson (Western Illinois) Summit League record.
- McIntyre now has 111 blocks on the season and is eight away from
the ORU single-season record held by Kisa Bradley. She is also 26
away from the Summit League record held by Brooke McAfee of
IUPUI.
- McIntyre's 17 double-doubles this season is just two away from
the ORU single-season record (19) held by Vivian Herron and Elisha
Turek with 19 each.
