O'FALLON, Mo. - The Oral Roberts University men's tennis team dropped a heartbreaker Saturday night falling 4-3 to St. Louis University.

The Golden Eagles took the first point of the match winning No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. However, ORU was unable to keep pace with the Billiken in singles action.

Jan Pehnec continued his hot start to the season winning his fourth straight match to improve to 4-2 with a win at No. 3 singles.

Match Recap
- Ciaran Lavers and Amar Saletovic won their third straight doubles match at the No. 2 position improving to 3-1. The duo knocked off Charlie Parry and John Nogalski, 6-2.
- Pehnec and Alejandro Capdequi combined to take a 6-3 win at No.1 doubles giving ORU the first point of the match. Pehnec and Capdequi are 2-1 in doubles.
- Michael Sosnowski claimed the other singles point for ORU at No. 5 singles, 6-4, 7-5. Sosnowski evened his singles record to 3-3 on the year.

ORU continues action in St. Louis as they head across the Mississippi River to take on SIU-Edwardsville on Sunday. Action from the Edwardsville YMCA Meyer Center is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
