CONWAY, Ark. - The Oral Roberts men's soccer
team continues to search for its first win of the season after they
fell on Monday afternoon at Central Arkansas, 3-0.
Sophomore defender Trevor
Laffoon had the first scoring opportunity for the Golden Eagles
just three minutes into the match, but the shot was saved the UCA

own goal, giving the Bears and early 1-0 lead.
Following another goal by the Bears in the 35th

team's favor, 2-0.
The Golden Eagles again came out of the locker room looking to
take the first punch on a shot on goal by Cody
Lofgren that was knocked away. It was just several
opportunities that were missed in the second stanza, as Kevin
Machado and Kroeze both hit the high post.
Both Ryan
Grashik and Daniel
McCarthy saw time between the post for the Golden Eagles, with
Grashik getting the start and being credited with the loss. Grashik
picked up two saves in 81 minutes of action.
