WACO, Texas - The Oral Roberts men's tennis team fell to No. 7
Baylor by a score of 4-0 in the opening round of the 2010 NCAA
Tennis Championships on Saturday at the Baylor Tennis Center.
The Golden Eagles, who made their fourth NCAA appearance in the
last six seasons, wrapped up the season with an overall record of
7-9.
The Baylor duo of Ramirez and Horny led off doubles play with an
8-0 victory over ORU's
Elliot Butay (Tulsa, Okla) and Carlos
Salazar (Tulsa, Okla.) at the bottom position, while Attila Bucko
and Jordan Rux teamed up to defeat
Dario Beslic (Posvsje, Bosnia)
and Dmitry Suslov (Novgorod, Russia) at the No. 2 spot by a score
of 8-2 to clinch the opening point.
The Golden Eagles dropped singles matches in straight sets at the
bottom three positions as Baylor closed out the match.
