NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oral Roberts University men's tennis team fell to Oklahoma, 4-0, in non-conference action on Monday afternoon at the Headington Family Tennis Center.

With the loss, the Golden Eagles dropped to 3-7 on the year while the Sooners improved to 8-10.

Oklahoma got on the board first with a straight set victory by Federico Chavarria over Dennis Trouke at No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-2. Dario Beslic then fell to OU's Ryan Thomas at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 6-1.

OU went up 3-0 when Alex Joitoiu defeated Denis Balazinec, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 3 singles. The Sooners finished the match when Andrei Daescu defeated Alex Kotsuik at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1. Daescu is ranked No. 32 nationally in the ITA singles rankings.

The Golden Eagles return to the courts on Wednesday, hosting Abilene Christian.
